Job Description

A leading AmLaw firm is seeking a 2-4 year associate to join its nationally recognized Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice in Austin. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, high-performing team on sophisticated matters while building a highly marketable specialty.

What You'll Do

  • Advise clients on a range of executive compensation and employee benefits matters
  • Support work involving equity plans, executive employment arrangements, and compensatory partnership interests
  • Assist on ESOP transactions and related structuring
  • Work across a variety of corporate and transactional matters involving compensation and benefits considerations
  • Collaborate with partners and clients on complex, high-value engagements

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of legal experience in transaction work (experience in executive compensation, employee benefits, or related areas preferred)
  • Exposure to equity compensation, ESOPs, or executive arrangements is a plus, but not required
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills
  • Interest in developing deep expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
